After Prachands' withdrawal of candidacy for PM election in eighth round, the single candidate has failed to gather ballots in his side once again. This is a never ending deadlock for political process to select a PM in the country.
Probably a greed of Position has worked in Poudel to continue the race still its results wont favour him. Similarly, Nepali Congress is aware about the chances of coalition government which it cannot run with Maoists.
A glimmer of hope for the formation of new government in a three points agreements between Maoists and UML faded when KP oli, a senior leader of UML and a flat vocal critic of Maoists rules out any chances.
